Paint Colours You’ll Fall In Love With

If you’re looking to sell your house, one of the best and most cost-effective ways to have it show-ready is a fresh coat of paint. I always suggest sprucing up the main living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms with a fresh, bright colour. A good “go-to” colour of mine is Benjamin Moore Grey Owl .

It’s the perfect neutral, the crips undertones allow any space to feel bright, airy and spacious, which is always the goal when listing your house. It pairs nicely with just about anything but especially with white finishes and dark accents.

You can’t go wrong with a little splash of BM Grey Owl in your home, and if you want to go the extra mile, add a fresh coat of white paint to the ceilings and trims. *chef’s kiss*

Let’s further discuss some more of favourite colours, these however, are a little more bold and risky and a little less neutral, but they can add so much depth and character, which is less for staging your home and more for decorating and styling it for your personal taste.

First up in the running, one of my all time favourite accent colours,Sherwin Williams Grays Harbour. What a sophisticated colour. This dark grey with very dark blue undertones is so versatile, it can be great as an accent wall, an entire room, a kitchen island, bathroom cabinets, a ceiling or even a front door.

Secondly, a colour trend I see happening more and more are the dark, deep greens like Benjamin Moore’s Dark Pewter. This dark green colour has been gaining momentum especially in the last year. I appreciate how glamorous this colour looks especially with gold accents.

Last but certainly not least, the grey-blue shades that I love!!! Especially as bathroom vanities. Benjamin Moore’s Porch Swing has a pure elegant and spa like feel. Honestly, 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking to add a punch of colour without going to drastic.
